November 2012

Our temple is open again! Yay! We have missed going there and are so glad it's back up and running and looks so beautiful! We took Jada to the open house and she sure loved it. She cried all the way home saying that she missed the temple. Of course we all wanted to stay there but it's just not possible :)
One of her favorite songs is "I Love to See the Temple" and it was quite the dream come true to be able to go inside and see all the phenomenal artwork and craftsmanship that went into this House of the Lord. I'm so glad we took her and sooo glad we didn't take the triplets...I reallllllly wanted to and gave Jason tons of heat for not wanting to but it would've been a disaster! Complete disaster. the stroller wouldn't have fit. they would've been SOOOOOO loud in there! it was so quiet and peaceful and that is not how I would describe my three 2 year olds! unless they are asleep, of course! But I'm reallllly looking forward to the Meridian Temple open house when I can take my entire family within the walls of the temple :)
Tyson's first ride on the trike. He isn't sure about it. and it's Pink and purple...Santa is bringing him something to ride that isn't girl colors :)
Happy Birthday Makenna, Aniston and Tyson! they are 2! can you beleive it? I can't. It seems like we have had them forever and I don't remember life without them! We love each of them for each of their personalities and love.
On their birthday Dallas was blessed. We have been meaning to do that 2 other times but we kept getting sick! it's been a rough month or so. We are better now and hope to stay that way! Here is some of the family and friends that came...so nice of them!
and our whole family! The kids had had it and were screaming...but you can't hear it, can you?! :)
Us with our little baby boy.
Ty giving Daddy kisses. He loves to give kisses. whenever he wants a kiss he just says, "MMMMMmmmmm," until you kiss him :) can't say no to that!
Dallas Blaine Lee. Isn't he just so adorable?! looks like his Daddy and I'm happy about it!
He was so tired and was such a good boy. He feel asleep after his blessing and we woke him up to come home so he is basically asleep in this picture. Doesn't even fuss. What a good boy.
My parents got him his blessing outfit, which makes it even more special. Mom gave it to me at my girls night out shower that she was able to attend. thanks, Mom! love you!
 My Kenna on her birthday!
The birthday girls and boy! they love, LOVE Dora right now. Jada's 2 year old bday was Dora too...a trend they couldn't avoid cuz she still loves it! They love what she loves of course. So Dora it is! they loved their cake that Daddy decorated just for them!

and Grandma and Grandpa Lee got them a book that sings Happy Birthday that we read together. If I start reading a book, this is what happens...a fight for my lap! everyone has to touch the book and be touching me. It's actually really fun :) I love these kiddos!
I made this foil crown...sounded like a fun activity...well, of course everyone wanted it. Here is Kenna's turn.
Aniston had the skirt and heels to match.it's all princess around here.
For my birthday Jason took me to McCall for a 2 night getaway! How sweet he is! It was so nice! Way nicer than I even imagined...to just get away for a bit. As I was packing and prepping the house I wondered why we needed to do this :) but once we got in the car to leave I was so happy to just have a little break. I needed it more than I knew and appreciate how thoughtful Jason is. He knows me more than I know myself sometimes. We took Dallas, of course...nursing babies don't do great without their mothers!
It was a "cabin" but really was a house that was rustic in some ways and up in the woods, so I guess a cabin! it was beautiful. big, open, slept 16 comfortably and we had it to ourselves. So next time we will have friends meet us there! it was awesome. We played cards and watched at least 15 movies. it was so fun to just talk, about alllll sorts of things we needed to talk about. and we could hear each other! At home we yell to hear eachother and usually give up and forget what we were gonna say :) It was really nice to be there together.
Dallas was a DREAM baby up there! He slept 12 hours at night and napped like a newborn! He is 3 months old and is really tooooo easy! and happy! love him!
Jason made calzones for the first night. I made the dough and he did the rest while I was on Pinterest finding new sewing projects :) He wanted to do it himself and I'm all for it! It was weird to be sitting during the "dinner rush" time at our house. How relaxing!
and here is the first calzone. we call them calzillas cuz they are huge!
D and I while Daddy played pool. It was a fun place to stay and we went out to dinner the next night, which was nice. We had a blast. Thanks, Hun!
Kenna and Aniston giving each other hugs. They love to do this. and kiss. and say "I love you, Sissy!" and Ty in the background crying cuz a) his hat got stolen (everyone fights over these hats!) or b) his pants disappeared! silly kids.
Ansers is so sweet. love her! they all love the dress up and wear play shoes so santa got a few more pairs for them! they all like the same things and that makes life very interesting and LOUD! :)

October 2012

Aniston sure loves babies. All of our kids do. Aniston loves to carry her doll, well Jada's doll, around. Wouldn't put it down but was so thirsty she just held her and chugged. These 4 older kiddos all like the same toys and sometimes there aren't 4 of everything :) so with this particular Cinderella doll there has been some serious fights! Some things I get 4 of but they also need to learn to share, a tough life lesson, but necessary :)
Dallas's first tummy time. He didn't love it but didn't cry :) he only lasted a few minutes which is great. He has a heavy head to hold up! Don't all babies?
Makenna Joy is such a sweet girl. She loves to smile and has a beautiful smile loaded with dimples.
Aniston too! Look at this. She is our eater! She will eat all her food most of the time and has grown to be the biggest triplet in our house right now. Tyson has always been biggest and tallest but she took over both this last month at their 2 year old visit. crazy.

Tyson is a sweet boy and loves to eat, too. Just slower than the girls ;)
Cuddling up to a cartoon. They love to share blankets and sit together. So cute.
For Halloween we didn't do much but walk around the neighborhood for an hour or so. So we wore the same costumes as last year cuz they all fit...except the monkey. Plus we needed one more animal, so I got a tiger for Aniston. I wanted an elephant but waited too long and they were gone. The monkey was a 0-6 month size and Aniston wore it at 1 year old, but now they have grown so much it was looking a bit small when I put it on her :) so Dallas was perfect for it and if you ask me, he is a pretty cute monkey! Here is D and Kenna.
Jada loves her giraffe and was thrilled to still wear it but I think next year she will wanna be a princess. fine by me. it's princess everything these days :) but last minute she said she wanted to be a ballerina, so she put a tutu over the costume and said she was a giraffe ballerina. there you have it.
My and my monkey. It was a great Halloween. The warmest I think I've ever experienced! We were all hot. It looked cold outside but it was like 70! It was nice cuz I was worried about D getting too cold. The kids had fun. They didn't get candy but Jada did and they had fun being in costume and going for a walk. Jada forgot about her candy the next day and it is still in the pantry. getting hard and gross. I need to chuck it. I'm glad we aren't candy people. but we are sweet people :) we love to bake, that's for sure!

September 2012

Daddy and Ansers
Jada loves the slide at the park! "ta da," she says! It was our first walk as a family with Dallas!
Feeding her baby. of course, just like me. she does everything I do. scary thought, huh? She is very motherly and nurturing. She always comforts D by saying, "It's ok, Son. I'm right here. I love you." I love how she calls him son. I never realized how much I do it, or she wouldn't!
I made her a sling for her dolls so she could be like me too :) it took ten minutes. a fun project she could sit on my lap for. I don't use my slings in the house, but for walks, etc. she still wants to be a mommy all the time. All 3 girls have loved it.
 Kenna Joy.
I made Jada this twirly skirt. She loves it. I could hardly get her to stop twirling to get a picture. So cute.
 Aniston Janae. Loves hats.
Jada rode her bike to her friends' birthday party and was dressed in a ruffle outfit I made her. What girl doesn't love ruffles?!
Just out of the bath. Chubby little guy. Love him!
I cut Kenna's hair while Jason was golfing :) i asked permission a few days before but he said not to. Come on. it was uneven and a mullet. I knew it would be cute like Meg Ryan's in you've got mail, so I did it! It flips out like that on it's own so why not!? She is even cuter! He was happy in the end...he should know by now to just TRUST ME! :)
Jada, eating her breakfast burrito that we love to make on Daddy's late days. she was trying to get Dallas to laugh so she wouldn't look at me.
My great grandpa Leavitt. Dallas's great great grandpa. Who gets to meet their great great grandpa?! He is 95. Lives about 40 minutes from us. I go see him every month or so. He is so sweet and loves to see his grandkids. my middle name is Mattie, after his first wife, my great grandma. Jada's middle name is Mattie as well. I'm excited to meet her someday. Everyone says she was just great.
My brother Colton came with Judson and Melissa on their way to Washington from AZ. They hadn't met Dallas so it was fun to chat for a bit. we miss not seeing them as much since they have been away from Rexburg. Colton will be back there in January! Yay! but Juddy won't...he is in chiropractic school in Portland! Go Jud!

August 2012

Jada just loves to be by Dallas. It's so cute. Just watching her cartoon by him :)
He looks just like the Lee's! Here he looks like Jason's brother, Rick. Usually he looks like his brother, Scott. Jason and Scott look a lot alike so he does look like Jason but it's crazy how much a Lee he is!
 Daddy and D watching football.
I went to my parents when Dallas was 12 days old. My mom was and is not well. I had to get up there so she could meet him and to spend time with my parents. I'm glad I did. It was actually genius to recover up there! I had ONE baby! and a newborn! all they do is sleep! and occasionally eat :) it was a great week and I'm so glad we went, just D and I. Here they are taking a nap together. so sweet.
Mom is in a wheelchair and has in home care part time. She can't move her limbs. That is very challenging for everyday care, like going to the bathroom. Dad lifts her in and out of her wheelchair all day and night, since she seems to have to go so often. it's been hard. It's hard to see her that way and she is frustrated and mentally not sharp. She doesn't seem to remember anything short term but can recall things from long ago. It's really sad. We could hardly carry a conversation so I just started talking about things long ago, like my wedding (since my anniversary was the day after I came home) and all the things we used to do. It made it much more pleasant and Mom liked it so much better because she wasn't frustrated and confused. poor thing. I love her so much and it has been hard to see her go downhill soooo fast when she seemed to be doing just fine for a while there. at least walking on her own and knowing what day it was, etc. Bless her for all she has done as my mother.
Our anniversary date. It was nice to visit and just be together. We had a great meal at Barbacoa. It's a new fave for us. I was craving onion rings, which weren't very good...but my fresh beet salad was amazing!
Jada loves to hold Dallas...she calls him her baby brother. and always says how much he loves her!
awake...doesn't happen much but had to catch it!
This was cute. On our anniversary, a Sunday, we were watching our wedding DVD. Jada loved it. So we watched it a couple times. She found a spot to watch...a new spot...laying on the top of the recliner :) it was pretty funny. Stayed there the whole time.
Jason took her to see the hot air balloons launch early in the morning. She was so excited.
The mickey mouse one was a hit...behind them.
how fun. I've never seen these in person and would love to. someday.
Happy little girl for early in the morning!
Look at this scowl! Aniston is our little scowler. It's pretty funny. She can scowl like no one I've seen and a second later be smiling so huge. Here, can you tell who is happy and who is sad? Ya. Kenna is a cheezer and Ans is sporting her scowl. thought you'd enjoy it.
 Jada giving Kenna kisses
 and hugs
Sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters. They love each other!
I love how Jada is looking at Ans and she is looking at D
 the trips.
We took the kids outside when Dallas was a couple weeks old to get some shots of all the kids. we got some decent ones and I'm glad we did it!
 Ty and Jada
Giving Dallas kisses

We love AAAAALLLLLL our sweet babies!
